As Boas Maneiras (Good Manners, 2017)

Two women in São Paulo deal with pregnancy, love and werewolves.

This to me is a lot more interesting when it’s just about a woman hiring a nanny for the child she’s expecting and how their relationship develops, before the supernatural stuff kicks in, but this is all very much worth watching. It’s a very sweet, interesting relationship story with the backdrop of race and class.  Whatever else I think of where the story goes, this is absolutely worth tracking down for these wonderful lead performances by Isabél Zuaa and Marjorie Estiano.
