Why oh why is our kid using their imagination? Must be craziness!
Ineptly filmed and acted (this looks sub-standard even by the standards of a 1982 television movie), the only reasons to see this are very early Tom Hanks, already showing why he was about to break out as a star, and some interior filming in the World Trade Center and on the roof, areas I wasn't familiar with so it was interesting to see. But over all, this is moral panic nonsense that is barely a step above a Jack Chick tract in going after Dungeons and Dragons. Very, very avoidable.

1963 - Directed by Steven Hilliard Stern and written by Tom Lazarus from the terrible Rona Jaffe novel.
